UAE Govt Issued Visa-On-Arrival Tourism for China Improved Tourism

Tourism in UAE has always been very strong. After the government issued visa-on-arrival tourism for China, it improved as much as 41 percent. In 2017, around 764,000 Chinese tourists visited the UAE. In total, approximately 15.79 million international visitors entered the country in the same year an increase of 6.2 percent from the last year. The country had five percent growth in the year 2016. All these reports were given by the Dubai Department of Tourism & Commerce Marketing.

Helal Saeed Almarri, director general, Dubai Department of Tourism & Commerce Marketing, said that UAE is continuously evolving as a travel destination and maintaining the inflow of tourists is essential to achieve the country’s 2020 goals on Tourism Vision. UAE’s next biggest goal is to welcome around 25 million international tourists during a six-month expo that will be held in Dubai between October 2020 and April 2021. As far as 2018 goes, all hotels, restaurants, and resorts are all ready to welcome guests for the Chinese Lunar New Year and Spring Festival.

Tim Clark, president, Emirates Airlines, which is UAE’s national airlines, said that the company is looking forward to expanding to more destinations in China. Currently, Emirates Airlines flies between UAE and five Chinese destinations including Yinchuan, Beijing, Guangzhou, Shanghai, and Zhengzhou. By the ending of 2017, Dubai accomplished in establishing 107,431 hotel rooms and apartments. The total was four percent higher than the previous year.
